Diane is a licensed psychologist with over 35 years experience providing psychotherapy to adults and training clinicians who are entering the field of psychotherapy, mental health or behavioral health. She has directed the Counseling Services program at Dominican since 2015. In addition, Diane has maintained a private practice as a therapist and consultant since 1988, she has worked as a clinical director in Bay Area mental health agencies from 2000 to 2014 and was a faculty member in the Counseling Psychology master’s program at Dominican from 2014 to 2022.

Research Interests

Diane was awarded a summer research grant to pursue her interest in the topic of "Relationships between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Mental Health Symptoms in University Students."  The project involved researching previously established links between ACE exposure and mental health symptoms as well as analyzing data related to the effectiveness of counseling in providing symptom relief for students with different levels of ACE exposure.
