My name is Rizza Alcaria and I am a senior at Dominican University of California majoring in Biology with a concentration in Molecular Cell Biology with a minor in Chemistry.  I was born in the beautiful island of the Philippines and I spend my early years in Hong Kong and then finally moving to California when I was 7 years old.  I moved everywhere around the Bay Area but my hometown is Richmond, Ca.  My immediate family current resides in the Central Valley.

Going into my third year in ASDU, I hold the position as the Senior Representative.  I plan to still be active in planning social events as well as be the voice of my class.  In addition to being a member of ASDU, I am the captain of the Ambassador Program, a member in many honors society such as Alpha Lambda Delta, Gamma Sigma, Alpha Chi, and Tri Beta, as well as an Honors Student in the Honors Program.  After Dominican I plan to go to Medical school and pursue a career as an OB/GYN.
 
I love the company of my friends and family.  Bargain shopping and eating are my hobbies.  I love Dominican because since its a small university, I am able to establish quality relationships between my colleagues and professors.
