Welcome to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP)

Mission Statement

The purpose of ORSP is to work with Dominican faculty and staff to establish, manage, and maintain external and internal government and other research and program-related grants and contracts. We assist faculty and staff with contract development and negotiation, as simply and efficiently as possible.  ORSP will also assist faculty and staff with prospect research, and the proposal and budget preparation necessary to secure support from foundations (and other outside sources) for curriculum development, and community-based and/or departmental initiatives. 

ORSP provides the information, training, and the internal control monitoring needed to meet the laws, rules, and policies governing sponsored research and programs.  We also work closely with the Advancement Office, the Office of the Provost, the Office of Business Services, and the Public Relations Department to ensure that Dominican’s academic and administrative accomplishments receive appropriate oversight and recognition.

As part of the Advancement Office, ORSP is located in Guzman Hall, Room 105.
