Velkommen! Boa vinda! Salam! Shalom! Failte! Welcome!
Congratulations on choosing to attend Dominican University of California! We know that you will make a fine addition to our community.
Your new home away from home is located in beautiful San Rafael, California. San Rafael is a picturesque community of 58,000 friendly residents. The campus offers the best of both the warmth and security of a small town, and due to its proximity to San Francisco, all of the advantages of a large, international city. We are located about 30 minutes from the rugged coastline of the Pacific Ocean, and less than 4 hours from world famous downhill and cross-country skiing at Lake Tahoe.
Here at Dominican University of California, we appreciate the courage and determination it takes to be a stranger trying to adapt to a strange country. At times we know that you may feel confused and even isolated as you adapt to the language barriers and cultural differences of the United States. We hope that this page will help you with some of the challenges you face as you begin this adventure.
