Dominican University of California is an independent, international university of Catholic heritage founded in 1890. One out of 10 students on campus are from another country including Japan, China, Taiwan, India, Australia, Philippines, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, South Korea, Colombia, Tibet, Israel, and many more.

Our 32-hectare campus is located in a thriving residential neighborhood just 13 kilometers north of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County, the second wealthiest county in the United States. Marin County has many national parks and beaches, fine dining, shopping and hiking, and as a student at Dominican University of California, you are able to take advantage of all of them! We know that you will love our proximity to San Francisco and Silicon Valley, but appreciate coming home to the calm serenity of the campus and surrounding area.

Dominican is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. U.S. News & World Report ranks Domiican University of California in the top tier of "Western Universities - Master's." Today, students travel from over 30 countries and all over the United States to study one of over 30 disciplines, including an MBA program. With a total enrollment of over 2,000 students and small classes averaging 17 students, international students receive personal attention and guidance from dedicated faculty and caring staff.
