Thanksgiving, a cold, finals week, its time to study!
Brooke - November 29th, 2008 - The semester is coming to an end and I can't even believe it! Thanksgiving and family, friends from back home its crazy that five days at home can make me miss DU so much.
I've been home for the past 5 days and its super nice to see my family and friends. I even got to sleep in my own bed and it was SO nice!!
It is also really nice to have a little mini break before the whirl wind that will be happening the next couple weeks. We have our last week of classes next week and then finals. I'm not that nervous for finals I guess I'm more excited to be done. I feel like it was just yesterday I was moving my stuff in at Fanjeaux and meeting my new roomies. Now its sad to leave on long breaks and not have them there to hang out with.
Monday was extra cool too because we had our own Thanksgiving on campus. People from the community come and families and it just creates such a warm environment on campus. They had the best mashed potatoes and a bunch of great deserts. It was a great way to share that with my new friends from school.
Anyway, wish me luck on finals!!
