Winter Break is Almost Here

Michaelia-Sunday, December 7, 2008- Break is so close, I can taste it. All I have to do is finish a final and I am home free.

The end of the semester is only days away, actually for me it is only two classes away. I can defiantly say I’m happy. Within this past week alone I’ve had four presentations day after day, although I much prefer a presentation over a final exam, I can say they do become time consuming. Luckily I only have one more presentation and one written final in the upcoming week and then I’m free of class, test and homework for the next five weeks!! The week before finals seems to become a dead week, everyone is locked away in their rooms or in the library trying to get that last minute of studying done. But me, I’m hardly like that. Yes, I do study and prepare myself, but I don’t stress and become antisocial, in fact I find my self with more free time that I’m able to enjoy.

Even thought I can’t wait for the break to already start, it will be a bitter sweet moment. All my roommates will be going home and I will still be on campus for basketball. But before we all part ways for the break we’re planning to have a mini Christmas party in our room. We’re going to light our tree and exchanges all of our gifts, I’m really excited to see what everyone got and to eat some good treats. I really want some good ole hot chocolate with marshmallows because its been so cold lately, but after out super long summer weather I’m pretty sure they Bay Area needs it. Since Christmas time is almost here I better start making a list for my parents because they always say they never know what to get me. I think I’ll start on that list right after my last final; I got to make an extra list for Santa too.

Happy Holidays, keep warm.
