Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate for this fulltime regular position will have strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Controller, this position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Business Services Office, particularly in the areas of reconciliation, month-end general ledger processing, processing of journal entries and other related accounting operation activities. Responsibilities focus on problem resolution of financial issues and include providing responsive, effective customer service to the Dominican University campus community. Perform professional accounting duties involving the application of accounting theory, principles, and practices; research and analyze accounting records to identify and resolve errors; monitor compliance with federal and state laws, University policies and procedures, tax laws, and accounting standards.

Housing Director Position

Housing Director Position Summary - The Director of Housing is responsible for the management of four residence halls on campus (3 traditional dormitories and 1 apartment style living community) and for the supervision of the Resident Assistant (RA) Staff. Our residence halls collectively house 540 students and are occupied at 100% capacity. This is a twelve-month, live-in position. An efficiency apartment is provided on campus, as is an allotment for meals. This is an exempt position with full benefits. The yearly salary is commensurate with experience.
