Biology Student Named MIT Summer Research Fellow
As a 2008 Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI)-MIT Summer Research Fellow, biology major Elyza Genilo is spending the summer working in the science labs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is one of only eight recipients of this fellowship—both from within MIT and schools around the country.

Education, Business Students Spend Summer Teaching at South Africa's LEAP School
Dominican has joined forces with San Francisco-based non-profit Teach with Africa on a pilot project to send teaching teams to South Africa’s LEAP School. The LEAP School serves some of South Africa’s most economically and socially challenged students.
