Carica Macariola, MA

Carica became an athletic trainer in 1999 after earning a BS in kinesiology from Sonoma State University. She worked for St. Patrick St. Vincent High School in Vallejo, California for 13 years as their athletic trainer and physical education teacher. During that same time, she volunteered at the Olympic trials for track and field in 2000 and the NCAA Track and Field Championships in 2003. After leaving St. Patrick St. Vincent High School in 2013, she began the kinesiology master’s program at Sonoma State University, earning her master’s in 2016. During the summer months, Carica has also been an athletic trainer for the Vallejo Admirals professional baseball team since 2013.
