Dr. Gigi Gokcek is the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Education, and Professor of Political Science. Previously at Dominican, she directed the Honors Program and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2012. Gigi has offered courses in international relations as well as comparative politics, and has published peer-reviewed books and articles in the areas of international security, political development, higher education, in addition to active and engaged learning. She has served on several boards and is a former chair of the Women's Caucus at the International Studies Association.
