Vafa Saboori, PhD

Vafa holds a PhD in manufacturing and technology management from the University of Toledo, Ohio. He holds an MBA in strategic management and a BS in mechanical engineering. He is honored to have received the Outstanding Teaching Award and Outstanding Research Award from the Barowsky School of Business at Dominican. His main areas of research are healthcare operations and supply chain management. His other areas of research are innovation and technology management. Vafa's academic articles have been published in respected academic journals including the Journal of Supply Chain and Operations Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, International Journal of Production Economics, and International Journal of Innovation and Technology Management. His scholarly work has been presented at conferences worldwide. Vafa has six years of work experience as a lead project engineer in oil, gas, and petrochemical industry.
