About 150 proud Dominican University of California alumni will return to campus for the annual Alumni Reunion Weekend Friday and Saturday, April 26-27

Highlights of the weekend include the 50th Anniversary Golden Circle Dinner honoring the Class of 1969, reunion Mass, the anniversary luncheon and a concert and beer garden in Forest Meadows.
Festivities begin on Friday evening with the 50th Anniversary Golden Circle Dinner in the Garden Room at Edgehill Mansion. The cocktail hour starts at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m.
At last count, 34 members of the Class of 1969 had RSVP’d for the dinner. The Class of 1969 reunion gift has been designated for The Sister Marie Sagues, O.P. Endowed Scholarship, which will be given to a senior majoring in Humanities.

Distinguished Alumni Service Award, and Michael Henkes, who was Grounds Manager at Dominican for 25 years, will be awarded the Sister M. Aquinas, O.P. Award. Adrienne Jose '13, a Pediatric Cardiovascular nurse at Stanford Children's Health - Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, and Oscar O'Con, Jr. '17, a former Penguins’ student-athlete who is now a San Rafael Police Officer, will both receive the Outstanding Recent Graduate Award.
Following the awards ceremony and champagne reception, the Anniversary Luncheon will start at 12:45 p.m. on Meadowlands Lawn. All five and 10-year reunion classes from 1949-2014 will be recognized at the luncheon. Three members of the Class of 1949 have RSVP’d and all alumni are welcomed to the attend any and of reunion events.
Reunion Weekend 2019 continues with a beer garden and concert in partnership with Associated Students of Dominican University (ASDU) from 1-5 p.m. at Forest Meadows Field. Several alumni will be performing at the concert. Class photos will be taken on the Meadowlands Hall stairs at 2:15 p.m. followed by campus tours at 3 p.m.
