Penguin Chats Prepare Voters On Campus For Election Day
With Election Day on November 3, faculty and students in the Political Science and History departments at Dominican University of California have been hosting a series of weekly virtual “Penguin Chats” to help students, faculty, and staff focus on key issues.
The final “Penguin Chat” is Wednesday, November 4, via Zoom from 4-5 p.m. It will recap the U.S. Presidential Election.
“Engaging people in discussions about current events and social issues encourages political participation,” says Political Science professor Alison Howard, chair of the Division of Public Affairs in the School of Liberal Arts and Education. “The department is committed to providing students with the resources they need to be active, informed, and engaged participants in their communities and with the political system.”
